Grace Coddington "A Memoir" / Karma Necklace / Zara Loafers / Vienna

Hardly a month and time will come again. I actually had to recalculate to acknowledge to myself that I am almost 27 years old now. Unsatisfactory, if you think about what I still couldn't set off my to-do list... Asked for my birthday wishes, at first I could only shrug the shoulders. Currently there is almost nothing on my urgent wishlist. "A Memoir" by Grace Coddingtion will be a gift to myself and I finally ordered it some days ago. The karma necklace of Dogeared has been flirting with me for a long time, but until now I couldn't find the perfect simply and golden one. The Zara loafers I already sneak around for a while and if it will be finally spring sometimes, these babys might prove to be a worthwhile investment. A really urgent desire to me is a birthday trip to Vienna. Since the  last visit in june last year I am totally on love with this city. Probably because associated with the best holiday memories I ever had. Vienna in the summer was beautiful and inspiring, and I'm sure Vienna in the spring is just as breathtaking too. // Kaum mehr einen Monat und dann ist es wieder soweit. Ich musste tatsächlich nachrechnen, um mir zu bestätigen, dass ich nun schon 27 Jahre alt werde. Unbefriedigend, wenn man bedenkt, was ich immer noch nicht von meiner To-Do-Liste streichen konnte...  Gefragt nach meinen Geburtstagswünschen, konnte ich anfangs nur mit den Schultern zucken. Derzeit gibt es beinah nichts, was ich mir sehnlichst oder dringlichst wünsche. "A Memoir" von Grace Coddingtion wird ein Geschenk an mich selbst sein und endlich haben ich es vor einigen Tagen bestellt. Die Karma-Kette von Dogeared flirtet schon eine Weile mit mir, bis jetzt konnte ich allerdings noch nicht die perfekte, schlichte, goldene finden. Um die Zara Loafers schleiche ich ebenfalls schon eine Weile herum, und wenn es endlich Frühling wird, könnten sich diese Babys als lohnende Investition herausstellen. Ein wirklich sehnlicher Wunsch jedoch ist ein Geburtstagsurlaub in Wien. Seit dem letzten Besuch im Juli letzten Jahres bin ich absolut verliebt in diese Stadt. Möglicherweise weil dieser mit den schönsten Urlaubserinnerungen bisher  verbunden ist. Wien im Sommer war wunderschön und inspirierend und ich bin mir sicher, das Wien im Frühling ebenso atemberaubend ist.

Scrubs, creams and care to get rid of the pale and dry winter skin is just the first step. As a huge fan of Kiehl's I swear at the Lavender Body Scrub. It has a very creamy texture and is easy to apply after showering. After using it just rinse with warm water or wipe with a washcloth for better exfoliation. In terms of body lotion I believe in the effects of a classic. The Biotherm Lait Corporel Anti-Dessèchant maintains excellent, absorbs quickly and leaves a fresh, unobtrusive scent on the skin. Once a week after showering this procedure is on the agenda until the pale winter skin has given way to a bright spring skin. // Glaubt man den Sonnenstrahlen vor dem Fenster, ist der Frühling tatsächlich nicht mehr weit. Es wird also Zeit sich auf die kommenden Saison vorzubereiten. Peelen, Cremen und Pflegen, um die fahle, trockene Winterhaut loszuwerden ist nur der erste Schritt. Als großer Fan von Kiehl's schwöre ich auf das Body Scrub Lavender. Es hat eine sehr cremige Konsistenz und lässt sich einfach nach dem Duschen auftragen. Anschließend mit warmem Wasser abspülen oder, für den besseren Peelingeffekt, mit einem Waschlappen abreiben. In Sachen Bodylotion glaube ich an die Wirkung eines Klassikers. Die Biotherm Lait Corporel Anti-Dessèchant pflegt hervorragend, zieht rasch ein und hinterlässt einen frischen, unaufdringlichen Geruch auf der Haut. Einmal in der Woche, nach dem Duschen steht diese Prozedur auf dem Plan, bis die blasse Winterhaut einer rosigen Frühlingshaut gewichen ist.

He is everywhere. The fresh launched onlineshop of H&M offshoot &other stories. Initially ridiculed by me, after a short browse I was blown away. From shoes to bags to jewelery and ready to wear almost everything was very convincing. In the beauty department, I lost my mind and was shortly unable to make rational choices. If I could, I would let the entire beauty area migrate to the cart. This fails, however, the first due to the limit of 20 items and the second to the parent financial plans for the future and also a little on common sense, which I received again from Body Scrub to BB Cream. I am also not a fan of the "pig in a poke." So I will wait a little to the store openings in Berlin and convince myself whether the products do not only visually but also tactile and especially in wear and care feeling consist. After I had myself under control again, I was able to set a whishlist of 14 products, which could be my first order. // Er ist in aller Munde. Der frisch gelaunchte Onlineshop des H&M Ablegers &other stories. Anfangs von mir müde belächelt, war ich schon nach kurzem Stöbern hin und weg. Von Schuhen über Taschen bis hin zu Schmuck und Ready to Wear hat mich nahezu alles überzeugt. In der Abteilung Beauty verlor ich dann kurz meinen Verstand und an rationale Entscheidungen war nicht mehr zu denken. Wenn ich könnte, würde ich einmal den gesamten Beautybereich in den Warenkorb wandern lassen. Dies scheitert jedoch zum ersten an der Beschränkung auf 20 Artikel und zum zweiten an den übergeordneten finanziellen Zukunftsplänen und natürlich auch ein wenig am gesunden Menschenverstand, der mich zwischen Body Scrub und BB Cream wieder erreichte. Zudem bin ich kein Fan von der "Katze im Sack". Deswegen werde ich mich noch ein wenig bis zu den Shoperöffnungen in Berlin gedulden und mich dann vor Ort überzeugen, ob die Produkte nicht nur optisch, sondern auch haptisch und vorallem im Trage- und Pflegegefühl bestehen. Nachdem ich mich dann wieder unter Kontrolle hatte, konnte ich mich auf sage und schreibe 14 Produkte festlegen, die meine erste Bestellung werden könnten.

Fuck you flu!

Winter again! This time the flu didn't avoid me, and so I'm sitting at home, drinking tea, trying to get rid of the cough and me to move as little as possible, because every movement is too much effort and excessive sweating. Best to implement this project can be with musical accompaniment by Frank Wiedemann. // Erneuter Wintereinbruch! Dieses Mal machte die Grippewelle keinen Bogen um mich, und so sitze ich zu Haus, trinke Tee, versuche den Husten loszuwerden und mich möglichst wenig zu Bewegen, weil jede Bewegung zuviel maßlose Anstrengung und Schweißausbrüche bedeutet. Bestmöglich umsetzen lässt sich dieses Vorhaben mit musikalischer Begleitung von Frank Wiedemann.
